Advertising in India means a lot of different things. They always manage to show what they want and seldom relates it to reality. there is a very insidious paradox though.
What the advertisments preach ends up becoming reality.

Fair and lovely is apparently God's gift to woman kind, which can win you everything from that job interview to prince charming. This has led to the Indian choices becoming biased to the fair.

A hero bike rider would travel miles to say only a good night to his lover and then return immediately. This would probably have been a better ad for erectile dysfunction.

Nothing bonds in-laws like chana masala.

Okay, let me try to explain the scenario via a famous concept in Solid State Electronics.

The Energy Gap between Valence Band and Conduction Band.
So, there is an energy gap existing between the valence and conduction band of an element. Somewhat like this.

Let us symbolize the Valence Band as "No feelings" and the Conduction Band as "Love". When an electron crossed the energy gap between the two, in other words, when an relationship passes through certain stages, we call them to be in Love. This takes time and energy.
For some of us this gap isn't that large, it's pretty easy to get to their hearts (Conductors). Some are a little bit more protective and require some effort (Semiconductors). While some are just plain impossible to fall in love with (Insulators).

While for elements, it may seem quite simple, the human energy gap often has layers to penetrate.

Love at first sight, explained according to this concept would be something like,

Since, Love at first sight doesn't provide the time or energy, to accommodate this transition, one can only speculate that, the phenomena is more like,

So, ask yourself, when your electron is making this transition, are you actually experiencing all these stages in a smaller time frame or are you skipping some vital ones?
Most of the time it's seen that the Infatuation and Lust energies are strong enough to make this happen. Although a transition which occurred in such a small time and with such futile parameters, is highly likely to crash and burn as soon as a small amount of heat is applied to it. The bond will break at the slightest flame of a bunsen burner or a simple mishap of life.
Not only are you missing out on all the subtle emotions at the various stages, but you are depriving your conducting electron (the guy/girl) of them.

Bottom line, No, I do not believe in Love at first sight, and I apologize for the long and highly symbolic answer.

I wonder why don't we celebrate the some day as National Shame Day to mark the mistakes our people made that granted British their wish to rule over India.

15th August 1947- India got freedom from British rule

15th August 2015-

Indians everywhere celebrating the 69th Independence day.
Generally you would see these kinds on the independence day

1.The social media Desh Bhakts-

The one's who pretend to be super duper desh bhakts on social media by sharing tons of posts,changing their profile pictures,keeping statuses and so on.

2.Common people present during flag hosting and other cultural programs on the day-

The least a common person can do to show his patriotism is to be present for flag hosting.Myself being a part of this group of people i can say that even though our intentions are to be present for flag hosting out of love for nation we always end up gossiping.

The first two types are themselves unaware that they are not as patriotic as they show,so they can be considered as partial patriots.

3.The NetaJi's and corrupt officers-

No doubt they are fake patriots involved in anti-national as well as inhuman activities for selfish aims.The patriotism they display on media is obviously a drama.

This people know it in their heart very well that they are traitors,they are no desh bhakts.

 4.The jawans and the ones who work for some social cause-

Jawans no doubt they are the true patriots serving the country,and social workers even they are serving humanity which is beyond the concept of nation. Doesn't matter if its only 15th august and 26th january you do some social work,it still makes you count as a social worker!

If you don't give a fuck to whatever is written in the first 3 descriptions,its because you know it in your heart if you are a true patriot or not and what i say doesn't matter to you.

I admit it that i'm not even a partial desh bhakt. I'm a believer of world without boundaries and totally against the concept of nation or patriotism.

We all are humans first and nationality is just a useless concept made by humans.
Borders or pride for nation makes people blind to see that the ones residing in land other than that of their own nation are humans too.
So with every victory of any nation,its humanity that is stabbed.

Terrorists who attack other countries

pretending to be doing it out of love for their own country

don't exist ,because people don't know what a country is

(A terrorist is seen a pure terrorist and not like in the case of border existence

where he is seen as a hero to the country to which he belongs to)

Soldiers fighting just for humanity and solving its problems

And not for any nation or to conquer other nation

Also scientists and engineers developing gadgets to benefit 

entire humanity 

And no waste of resources to research for arms

No wars to conquer land

No war affected people

People free to settle in any part of the world

The above thing is just a theory with which humans maybe able to achieve a nearly perfect society(extreme perfection is beyond the reach of humans).

In the book Immortals of Meluha it was quoted that "Any philosophy,no matter how perfect,works only for a finite period.That is the law of nature and cannot be avoided"

Accordingly the philosophy of nations,borders and patriotism might have been the perfect one during some time in history.But for now the philosophy should be 'A world without borders'.

Dear Anonymous, if you are a woman, you've almost turned me on with your dominant personality. Had you been standing in front of me and asking this question in such dominant way, i would have taken you into my arms and kissed you. (With me, it all starts with a joke)

Let me tell you a story. Once a dying father called his four sons. He gave each of them a stick and asked them to break it. They did. Then he gave all of them a bundle of sticks and asked them to break it. They couldn't. Then he started preaching and said "In similar way, if you all stay alone, world would break you and if you stay together, the world cannot break you."

If all the IITian's of a department work together with a single goal of research, they may produce results which may shock the world. If all the students of IIM work together on a start up, the amount of funding they could generate would blow off your mind. But my dear anonymous, the sad part is the tag of IIT or IIM gives more pride than knowledge. 

On this graph, imagine the x axis to be the knowledge and y axis to be the pride/ego. If both increase along y=x line, the human being is in realistic domain and results are acceptable (This line represents what it should be like). If it goes along y=0, then he is "Bhagwan Ram". And if it goes along x=0, he/she is an IITian. 

The IIT's are glorified by the Coaching Institutes. Think about the amount of money all the IIT coaching institutes makes in terms of revenue and profit across the nation. Just to sustain this, they glorify IIT's. And the result of this is that the one's who don't clear IIT keep cursing themselves and asking me questions like this
Do IIT-ians masturbate? Did people who got through IIT JEE masturbate heavily during their 11th and 12th? Is success in life inversely proportional to the amount of time spent masturbating?
those who do clear IIT, they go mad with pride and ego.

This ego and pride in IITians does not let them collaborate on anything. Hence, most of the people don't do anything in terms of team work (apart    from working in a team in Rendezvous and Sporttech for CV points) and waiting for the Interview call from Mckinsey, BCG, ATK, Bain, some financial firm or anyone else who pays them enough to reinforce the ego. They cleared the cut throat competition and came to IIT not to research but to earn money. So much money that even Bill Gates and Warren Buffett would start feeling jealous of them (sarcasm). 

ISRO on the other hand has collected some gems (egoless intelligent creatures) and makes them work collaboratively to create something phenomenal. The individuals and individuality is lost for them and they work for ISRO and India. 

However, this does not mean IIT's have just side effects. For starters, they have produced me (another joke). In the west, Individuality and Individuals are given a lot of Importance. Hence, some of the Individuals have performed brilliantly there and made a reputation for India and themselves. 

Summary: IIT's bring up smart individuals. They have high Individuality and tough time working in team (there may be some exceptions). Although everyone would say during the Interview to consults that they can work in team. ISRO on the other hand brings up people who have lost Individuality and work for a common cause. ISRO brings up team players.
In life, depending on what your objective is, you sometimes need individuals (e.g for dating, to have sex, to romance,  for strategy planning, art, answering on Quora) and sometimes you need team player (e.g research, military).

The First Post

Hi people! I'm Dhairya Gada,currently a First Year Engineering student at D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering.
This blog isn't particularly about anything...I just created this blog because i had a desire to have one,so the content of this blog can be any bullshit!
Right now i was supposed to be in my college attending lectures but instead i'm here blogging :)


And by the title of blog "Tempus Edax Rerum" ,it means that 'Time devours everything",it is a quote from the anime Steins Gate
